Basketball!

Thanks a bunch Miss Jeynes! We had an AWESOME time at basketball and really enjoyed learning new skills and playing some great competitive games!

COMING UP!

Week 11 is our last week in term two and we are ending it in fashion! Look what you have got to look forward to.

Soccer!

This week we learnt all about soccer with Mr Ricketts. We had loads of fun and learnt how to pass and dribble a soccer ball. Some of us already knew these skills so we were able to help the others in our class! Again, we came back covered in mud!! Check out our skills!

Bubby Class Charades

On Friday, we played charades with our buddy class (room1). It was so much fun and we did some great acting. We showed our buddies different ways to act things out. Mrs Turner and Miss Fleet thought we all did so well!

Rippa Rugby with Miss Simpson

Yesterday we played rippa rugby for senior sport rotation! Can't you tell from the photos we were made to work hard but had an absolute hoot of a time! We got covered in mud and Miss Fleet was so proud of us for getting into it!

Large Ball Skills - Netball

We are really enjoying large ball skills. We started off the Senior team sport rotation learning how to play netball! It was loads of fun! We will all be silver ferns in no time!

SUPER HERO DAY!

We had so much fun on Super hero day and all of our costumes looked so awesome!

Koru art!

For those who missed assembly last Friday, these are our koru artworks that we did as part of our learning in Te Reo Kori. We learnt about the koru design and about warm and cool colours. They are awesome and bright and we are really proud of them!

Room 4's Assembly

For those who missed it, we hosted assembly last week. We did an awesome job and performed a small presentation about the landing at ANZAC cove using De Bono's thinking hats. It looked and sounded fabulous! Well done room 4.

SUPERHERO DAY

Te Reo Kori

Te Reo Kori is well under way in room 4! This is some of our Rakau practice! We are working on keeping in time and exploring different rakau patterns that we can do. So far, we are doing really well!

We Love reading!

Every week on a Tuesday we visit the library to issue books for us to read at home and in independent reading time. We have started sharing a little bit about the books we are reading to the rest of the class so other students and Miss Fleet can hear what kinds of books we like to read. By sharing our books others might like the sound of the same book and want to issue it after me.
